Internazionale Milan 2007/08 Serie A

Football Club Internazionale Milano, commonly referred to as simply Internazionale, Inter or Inter Milan, is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy and was originally founded in March 9, 1908. The club are the only side in Italian football to have spent their entire history at the top tier, where they currently play in 2007–08 as defending champions. Inter have a total of 23 trophies won in Italy.Outside of their homeland the club have also had success in European and World tournaments; they won the European Cup in two successive finals during 1963–64 and 1964–65. They have also won the UEFA Cup three times and the World Club Championship twice. The milanese team is one of the G-14’s founding members, a group that represents eighteen of the largest and most prestigious European football clubs.
Home games are played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, also known as the San Siro. The ground which they share with rivals AC Milan is the largest in Italian football, it has a total capacity of just under 83,000.

For wear away from the San Siro in Serie A, Inter Milan shirt is white with a large red cross over it. The italian badge is in the centre of the kit, manufacturers Nike have their swoosh logo on the right hand side and the club badge is on the left chest.
Embroidered around the club badge is the wording “100 Years Inter” and 1908-2008 in gold, with a gold star above the badge. Club shirt sponsors Pirelli (in black) have agreed to have smaller logo than you would usually see on a football shirt and it is below the club badge rather than in the centre of the kit, to fit in with the special design.
Why the red crossed In the Fascist era in Italy, the name Internazionale was not looked upon well and the club became Ambrosiana. During this time they wore white shirts with a red cross on them. Initially founded as Internazionale in 1908, the reverted back to their original name in 1942.
Inter Milan FC away kits were worn with black shorts and white socks.
