The captain’ armband has been worn prior the La Liga season 2017/18. The armband is design with a Senyera design. The four red bars on the Senyera represents the coat of arms, often called bars of Aragon. It’s pattern is now used in the flag of four Spanish autonomous communities- Catalonia, Aragon, the Beleaic Islands and Valencia. The iconic crest of Barcelona is placed in the middle of the armband and the word ‘CAPITA’ in black is under it.
